The Macs Adventure app is a great tool for those looking to embark on a self-guided adventure. With its user-friendly interface and helpful features, it provides everything you need to enjoy your trip with ease.

By logging in with your Macs account details, you gain access to a detailed daily itinerary that covers all aspects of your trip, such as accommodation, activities, luggage transfer, equipment hire, and transfer information. This comprehensive itinerary ensures that you have all the necessary information at your fingertips.

The app also provides outdoor maps with daily route descriptions, elevation profiles, and visual tracks for each day of your adventure. These maps can be downloaded for offline use, allowing you to navigate even without an internet connection. Simply follow the blue line on the map and track your location using the orange marker. Additionally, the app offers a useful 'Start route' feature that tracks your progress along the trail and notifies you if you veer off course or when you're nearing your booked accommodation.

At the end of each day, the app provides a summary of your daily distance traveled. You can also rate your route and share your experiences with friends and family on social media.

Furthermore, each downloadable walking or cycling track includes important details such as Macs grading, duration, distance, elevation profile, total elevation gain and loss, detailed descriptions, directions (including turn-by-turn directions in most cases), points of interest, and marked accommodations on the map. Please be aware that only iPads with the WiFi + Cellular feature contain a GPS chip.
